XDEFI in-wallet and Web App swap fees
XDEFI Wallet is, and always will be, free to use with third-party websites such as Uniswap and OpenSea.
XDEFI users also have the ability to seamlessly swap and bridge within XDEFI Wallet and via the XDEFI Web App. Users are able to swap and bridge 10,000+ assets from 14 blockchains (Ethereum, Avalanche, Fantom, Arbitrum, BNB Beacon Chain, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), Polygon, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, THORChain, Dogecoin, Solana and Aurora) within XDEFI Wallet and via the XDEFI Web App (“XDEFI Swaps”).
XDEFI Swaps are powered by third parties, including: THORChain, 1inch, ParaSwap, OpenOcean, Multichain, Socket, Jupiter, THORChain DEX aggregator and Wormhole.
XDEFI does not charge a fee on XDEFI Swaps where the transaction’s total value is less than US$300. For transactions with a total value that is equal to or greater than US$300, XDEFI charges a competitive 0.3% to 0.5% fee on all XDEFI Swaps. This is currently > 40% cheaper than MetaMask and Phantom and even cheaper than the entry-level taker fee on Coinbase.
75% of all fees generated by XDEFI Swaps will be used to buy $XDEFI tokens on the open market.
- Our third-party market maker plans to purchase the $XDEFI tokens using a 1-hour TWAP (time-weighted average price) every 7-10 days.
- XDEFI is working on a dashboard to display swap volume, fees generated, and $XDEFI tokens purchased.
- All $XDEFI tokens purchased will be distributed to $XDEFI stakers.
The remaining 25% of all fees generated by XDEFI Swaps will be used for the continued development and governance of XDEFI.

- If your transaction has multiple hops, XDEFI will ONLY charge a fee on the first hop.
Swaps & bridging that begin with the THORChain DEX aggregator:
- Swaps & bridging with a value < US$300 swaps = 0.3% XDEFI fee.
- Swaps & bridging with a value >= US$300 swaps = 0.3% XDEFI fee.
Swaps & bridging that begin with other providers:
- Swaps & bridging with a value < US$300 = no XDEFI fee.
- Swaps & bridging with a value >= US$300 = 0.5% XDEFI fee.
